Modules for MySource Matrix

MySource Matrix is a powerful, fully featured, open source content management system; however it can be made even more functional through the addition of commercial clip-on applications called modules.

Squiz’s module package includes:

• Bulkmail – Allows users to send multiple personalised emails and manage subscriber lists.
• Calendar – Include a calendar in your site and allow users to see different views depending on their user account.
• Data package - Allows MySource Matrix to interface with external data sources such as Oracle, or MS SQL or even RSS feeds. Includes a graphing tool for creating add-hoc reports from these other systems.
• E-Commerce - This e-commerce framework allows the development of custom shopfront, shopping cart and payment gateway systems.
• Forums – A tool to integrate the popular third party discussion forum, Invision Power Board, with MySource Matrix.
• Import Tools - import content into MySource Matrix from an external sources. This tool allows structure MS Word documents into
• LDAP/AD Bridge – Allows user accounts to be authenticated of LDAP or Active Directory servers.
• Portal – The Remote Content tool is a screen scraper application that allows third party web-enabled applications to be integrated with MySource Matrix.
• Search – Allows keyword searching of content in your site including PDF and MS Word content.
• Squiz server – speeds up batched administration jobs by managing groups of requests concurrently.

People used to using MySource Matrix will realise some modules are missing from the list. These modules have now been incorporated in the core (open source) product from release 3.12.

Squiz’s modules for MySource Matrix are not open source. They are only available for the Squiz Supported Version of the CMS which starts at AUD$ 10,000 + GST per install. To obtainin a copy of the modules you will need to contact Squiz.
